A lil recap :D

A small recap on fedding:  These are my opinions, and some of you may agree - but I don't mind if you don't. LOL.

Twitter isn't going away, it's too much fun for the people that use it to build stories/feuds/connections etc.  The downside of course is the tendency for people to go on long ass rants #oocly - without the aid usually Twitlonger (which would keep the entire post in order rather than randomly shuffled as people answer parts).

Some people will embrace it, others hate it.  But guess what?  No one is insisting that you get a Twitter and you know, use it.  If it's not for you?  Then don't.  There are plenty of other ways to hype yourself and your storylines, both traditional and non.  Don't be butthurt over it when the people that DO like Twitter don't really care if you're on it or not because if you don't you're likely going to be acting like a wet blanket on other people's fun anyway.

Don't like it? Don't do it, don't try to firehose piss over everyone else's good time.

If you blend IC/OOC habitually and when called on it say Yolo or IDGAF you're not worth the time it takes to mess with.

NOT EVERYONE FEDS LIKE YOU DO.  That doesn't make them righter or wronger than you, it's paper or plastic - a choice, not the end of the fucking world, folks.

Beefing ooc'ly in shoutboxes, Twitter, Facebook, pretty much any public forum is kind of a dick move.  I say "kind of" because honestly there ARE times that things are wrong and should be brought to light.  It's HOW you present it that matters.  Endless ooc bitching - even if you're 100% right, the victim, taken advantage of etc...just makes you look like a dick.  It definitely will not do what you hoped, which is enact a change of some sort.  But if you've exhausted every possible polite avenue and are still being fucked over, let people know.  Don't let your buddies get caught up in the drama and waste their time.

If you find someplace that's great?  Hype the shit out of it.  SHARE it with people.  Get people interested in why you're having a good time.  If you are having fun, share that with people!!!

If you make a committment to someone, be it to write a match, do a seg, hell even RP out a cycle before you move on?  Do it.  Sure, this is "just a game" because OF COURSE IT IS.  But do you really want to be "that guy/gal"?  Think about how YOU would feel, if you were the fedhead who put in the time to set up the card, do the show, write the stuff... all the little details it takes to even make a show, that hey guess what?  They don't get paid for.  Think about how you feel, if you bust your ass on an RP - good, bad, ugly...doesn't matter you put in time, and your opponent no shows or half asses deliberately.

Don't be that person.

Also, don't be the person that gets on Twitter and says:  Oh well, I RP'd but it suxxors... I wrote it in ten minutes...I ran out of time...I'm fighting writer's block.

Hell, maybe all those are true!  Maybe, you need to take a break, or for some reason just weren't feeling it.  It happens to everyone.  But whether you intend for it to or not, saying those things sucks for the other person because if you win... what does it say about them?  If you lose, oh well you already had your pat excuse.

Don't be that person either.
